Tamem highlighted shocking figures of world hungry children, according to the UN food and agriculture organization (FAO), every year 1.3 billion of food is wasted. This is equivalent to the same amount produced in the whole sub-Saharan Africa. The clear message of world environment day is that everyone has a duty to push for an anti-food waste and food loss campaign that encourages you to reduce your foodprint and hopefully the world leaders at Mongolia will take this forward.
