Chairman of Human Rights Observers Mr. Tameem marked UN Human Rights Day with a historic speech
Dec 10 2013, – Human Rights begin with the self, if we recognize this fact then we would not only respect ourselves and our rights but also respect others and their human rights. He said that we all should come forward strive hard for a cause.
Tameem highlighted in detail the status of human rights and salient featured of democracy, we have been successful in promoting and maintaining the democracy but we fail to value and protect the human rights. He highlighted importance of civil and cultural aspects of rule of law.
He highlighted status of women’s rights and said that after Afghanistan and Congo India is the fourth dangerous country as far as the women’s rights are concerned.
