On the occasion of Health and Human Rights seminar Addl. DGP Gopal Reddy IPS, IG Anjana Sinha IPS, and Chairman Tameem spoke about the importance of conducting regular medical check-up to detect life threatening disease in a premature stage.
Also the seminar highlighted the importance of diet control and the sufficient intake of proteins and vitamins which protects obesity and protects the consequences of imbalance diet, nutritious and calculative diet keeps you healthy and active.
Health for all free medical camp by Human Rights Observers
Apr 25 2012, – Human Rights Observers and District Medical Health office (DMHO) jointly organised a free medical camp at GHMC Chelapura Playground, Charminar on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion HRO chairman Tameem said even after decades of freedom, India is struggling to provide basic health services to its people. According to government sources, in India 45 children die every hour due to respiratory infections. 1 child dies every 2 minutes due to diarrhoea. And annually, about 2 million children under 5 years of age die due to preventable diseases.
Camp was inaugurated by Ahmed Pasha Quadri, MLA, and GHMC corporator Ranjana Goel. “Every citizen should undergo medical check-ups for good health, and the efforts of the Human Rights Observers to organize medical check-up services for poor and middle-class extremely laudable”.
