Dec 20 2012, – Human Rights Observers joined others from across the country on Wednesday to protest against the gang-rape of a young physiotherapy student by six men in a moving bus in Delhi over the weekend.

HRO hosted candle light rallies, stage programs, press conferences to bring awareness among the female population to be vigilant and take all the necessary precautions to protect themselves. Also HRO delivered strong message to those who are disrupting peace and not respecting women’s dignity. Violence against women cannot be tolerated, laws have been amended woman should feel safe, woman should contribute to the work force by joining hands together with men and should create a sustainable society where woman have a greater role to play.
