Katikala Rajesh – Director Policy & planning for Human Rights Observers, where he oversees staff and supervises research and advocacy
He has also served as the youth president for the Leading political party in India, He has conducted fieldwork and advocacy throughout the region He has more than 8 years experience working on human rights issues in the rural areas. His work focuses on multiple initiatives on human rights issues in India and develops strategies for effectively shaping human rights policies of influential governments and a variety of institutions and forums.

A post graduate of Economics and policy studies from Universidad Ciencias Economicas of Valencia Spain, Prior to Joining Human Rights Observers he was involved in international advocacy, creative and cultural resistance, nonviolent civil resistance, campaign planning, monitoring and evaluation. His recent research focuses on the interplay between culture and rights.

Syed Fazal Zahid – Deputy Director Education and Children Rights Division
Fazal Zahid, is a graduate in Physics with an MBA in Hospitality, conducts fact-finding investigations, reports and articles on a range of issues affecting children, including access to education, police violence and the worst forms of child labor. By profession he is a travel specialist currently working with Amadeus India operations. He strongly believes in people empowerment and is very approachable by all. Honest and intensely dedicated.
He has been a part of us since 2011 and is working on expansion plans at Chennai, Tamilnadu.”
